Gunnison is nearest community to Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch. This is the place to come for groceries, gas and other supplies. The downtown area is thriving with restaurants, galleries and boutique shops. It is also home to Western State Colorado University.
Blue Mesa Reservoir is Colorado's largest reservoir boasting 96 miles of shoreline. The reservoir, adjacent to our resort offers a great place for fishing and boating. This is Colorado's Waterfront Playground.
Crested Butte historical roots are still visible in this cool mountain town at the north end of Gunnison Valley. Home to the Crested Butte Ski Area this area is known for excellent winter skiing and summer outdoor activities. It is only about an hour from our resort and a nice way to spend a summer afternoon.
