| Kebler Pass is a gentle, graveled mountain pass that goes between Crested Butte and Hwy 133 not to far from Paonia. The pass winds through what maybe the largest aspen forest in the world. Just off Kebler Pass on a side road is Lost Lake with camping and fishing. It makes a nice day loop drive from Gunnison to Crested Butte, over Kebler Pass and Hwy 133 to Delta and then back to Gunnison. Kebler Pass is also used in the summer as a way over McClure Pass and to Aspen. A very scenic drive. Beautiful in the fall as well as summer. |
