| The Gunnison Country offers some of the most spectacular mountain scenery to be found anywhere. Between Crested Butte and Aspen high mountains tower, with many reaching above 14,000 feet. To the east lies Monarch Pass that lies at the southern end of the Sawatch Range along the continental divide. To the south is Lake City at the northern edge of the rugged and scenic San Jaun Mountains. Most of Gunnison Country is public land open to explore with our many jeep roads, horseback trails and hiking trails. A mountain paradise! |
