| Crested Butte is a jewel of the Rocky Mountains set at the end of the Gunnison Valley. Crested Butte traces its roots back to historic mining times of an eariler century, and has been delared a National Historic Site. The area now boasts both summer and winter recreation, with many events for the visitor to enjoy.
