Nestled at the southern base of the West Elk Wilderness at an elevation of 7,600 feet, Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch is truly a Rocky Mountain High. The Gunnison Country is a perfect place to plan your summer getaway! You can expect glorious sunny days, afternoon mountain showers in July and August and delightfully cool evenings and nights. Blue Mesa Ranch, home to the corporate headquarters of Western Horizon Resorts, furnishes exceptional facilities and amenities.
Blue Mesa Ranch is directly across US Highway 50 from the resort is Blue Mesa Reservoir, Colorado’s largest body of water -
a 26 mile long lake with 96 miles of shoreline. Blue Mesa has two marinas, great fishing, boating and water sports.
Western Horizon Resorts campgrounds are now open to public camping for just $40.00 per night. Add $10.00 per night during major holiday periods. Just $245 for 7 nights and $420 for 14 nights. Tent camping is available for $10.00 per night.
